Mekong Institute (MI) Executive Director, Mr. Suriyan Vichitlekarn, bid farewell to Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, former Director-General of the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), expressing his gratitude for her dedicated service as MI Council member while extending his best wishes as she assumes the post of Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore.

On behalf of MI, Mr. Suriyan conveyed his deep appreciation to Ambassador Ureerat for her invaluable contribution during her tenure representing Thailand on the MI Council. He highlighted Ambassador Ureerat’s extensive experience and profound understanding of regional development issues which have been instrumental in shaping the institute’s strategic direction and fostering cooperation among Mekong countries.
