Since 2022, the Development Partners’ Consultation Meeting has become MI’s strategic event to inform and engage in dialogue with leaders of the GMS governments, development partners and non-government stakeholders on development priorities and issues that matter to the GMS. In principle, the overall objectives are to:

• Inform and update about MI’s capacity development for regional cooperation and integration in the GMS
• Exchange experiences and explore approaches for a more effective Development Partners engagement and cooperation in capacity development in the GMS.

Participants are representatives of embassies in Bangkok, development organizations, government agencies, international organizations, and members of the MI Governing Board and National Coordination Agencies.
