Mr. Suriyan Vichitlekarn, Executive Director of MI, paid a courtesy visit on Mr. Ke Yousheng, the Permanent Representative of the People’s Republic of China to UNESCAP and MI Steering Committee member at the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China on February 1, 2023, in Bangkok, Thailand. The two officials discussed MI’s future projects and activities and the progress of the MI-implemented projects under the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Special Fund and other programs supported by the Central Government of P.R. China and the Yunnan Provincial Government. In addition, Mr. Suriyan took the opportunity to present the plan for organizing the next annual MI Governing Board Meeting in July, 2023 in P.R. China to Mr. Yousheng.
