Course Objectives
- To enhance participants’ understanding of digital trade facilitation and its relevance to agricultural value chains.
- To strengthen participants’ knowledge of digital systems, standards, certifications, and trust mechanisms that support safe, transparent, and efficient cross‑border agricultural trade.
- To build practical skills in applying digital technologies for branding, sustainability, traceability, carbon reduction, and value chain competitiveness in the agrifood sector.
- To provide experiential learning through real business interactions and structured learning visits, enabling participants to observe real‑world challenges, innovations, and opportunities within agricultural value chains.
- To equip participants with the ability to design actionable and context‑specific Action Plans, applying the knowledge and skills gained throughout the training.
Target Participants
The applicants include businesses and firms engaged in cross‑border agricultural trade, members of business associations, farmers’ cooperatives, government agencies related to industry, trade, and agriculture, as well as academic and research institutes.
Total 25 participants: 5 participants from each Mekong country including Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand and Viet Nam.
