Mekong Institute (MI) is organizing the first in a series of three consultation workshops on “Innovative Financing for the Decarbonization of the Transport Sector” on June 27 – 28, 2023 via Zoom. With the support of the People’s Government of the People’s Republic of China (P.R. China), the workshop aims to enhance sustainable development in the region and support Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Goals.  

The workshop is designed for experts from the transport sector and financial field in the LM region, including policymakers, government officials, representatives from financial institutions, transport and infrastructure experts, project developers, private sector representatives, civil society organizations, and other key stakeholders involved in sustainable development and transport infrastructure financing.
