The Mission Director of USAID/RDMA, Mr. Michael Yates and the Supervisory General Development Office, Mr. David Gosney, visited the Mekong Institute (MI) on February 9, 2015. 

The Mission Director expressed that he appreciated the warm reception given by the MI Director, Dr. Watcharas Leelawath. He also mentioned that the MI human resource development programs and USAID/RDMA capacity building programs are in the area of mutual interest, most especially in supporting ASEAN integration of the Lower Mekong Sub-region.
