Marking the 10th anniversary of the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation (LMC) in 2025, the Lancang-Mekong Countries Science and Technology Innovation Competition aims to strengthen regional collaboration in science, technology, and innovation.

Co-hosted by the Department of Science and Technology of Yunnan Province and the Foreign Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Yunnan Province, the competition provides a platform for innovators, enterprises, and research teams from the six LMC countries to exchange ideas and showcase solutions driving sustainable growth. Under the theme “Converging Wisdom in Lancang-Mekong · Sharing an Innovative Future,” the event focuses on key development areas such as biomedicine, modern agriculture, new materials, green development, next-generation information technology, artificial intelligence, and fintech — promoting innovation-driven cooperation and shared prosperity in the region.

Step 2: Confirmation Required for Certified Applicants

Applicants from MI’s networks are kindly requested to complete the official registration through the partner’s platform and subsequently inform the MI team via email at [email protected]. This will allow MI to record and validate applications from our partner institutions, alumni, and regional network members.
