In line with Mekong Institute’s (MI) efforts to enhance its development services, Facebook Thailand provided two trainings on social media engagement and advertising for MI staff on April 5 and 8, 2021 via digital channels. 

The activities were part of MI’s commitment to broaden the reach of its communication campaigns to a wider audience within and outside the Greater Mekong Subregion. These include livestream services, advertisements of MI’s online trainings, as well as information dissemination of activities that will highlight milestones of MI’s 25th anniversary beginning in May 2021.

While this is the first formal engagement between Facebook Thailand and MI, preliminary discussions have been set to potentially roll out advanced trainings on social media management for more effective outreach strategies.
