Mekong Institute is pleased to announce the launch of its new knowledge platforms—the GMS Statistics Database and the MI E-Library. Both platforms feature a streamlined and simplified design coupled with up-to-date content offerings.  

The GMS Statistics Database provides national and international-generated statistics on the GMS countries’ socio-economic indicators in agriculture, labor, education, and trade, among others. The database affords users to access statistical graphics illustrating country comparisons as well as conveniently export data in Excel and PDF formats.

The MI E-Library, on the other hand, houses a collection of the institute’s publications along with external digital resources focusing on GMS countries. The e-library offers an array of books, journal articles, working papers, case studies, forum proceedings, and training reports—all of which can be sorted by country, department or year published. Online subscription is made available for users who wish to receive regular alerts on new additions to the collection.

“These digital platforms exemplify MI’s objective of being a knowledge resource hub in the region,” says Executive Director Dr. Watcharas Leelawath. “It reflects our commitment to optimizing capacities through the availability and accessibility of relevant GMS-specific information.”
