ADVANCING THE GMS LOGISTICS SECTOR TOGETHER – MI AND LOXSIM SIGN MOU

“This partnership is a win-win for MI and LoxSim as we work together to foster business to business connectivity in Thailand and the rest of the GMS,” expressed Dr. Watcharas Leelawath during the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) yesterday, November 27, with Loxley Simulation Technology Company Limited at Mekong Institute, Khon Kaen, Thailand. LoxSim is a Bangkok-based subsidiary of Loxley Orbit Public Company providing simulation solutions to businesses and the public sectors, as well professional training services.

Dr. Leelawath also remarked on the complementary services that MI and LoxSim offer, explaining that as MI trains logistics service providers in the Greater Mekong Sub-region, it can tap into LoxSim’s expertise in technology and its facilities.

LoxSim Chief Executive Officer Mr. Wansit Chatikavanij also conveyed his hopes that the partnership with MI will also contribute to helping the company build and use their technology and make it safer to all users.

The two-year MoU formalizes MI and LoxSim’s cooperation in undertaking research and training for logistics and supply chain clusters; promoting the adoption of technology such as driving simulator to enhance logistics operators and drivers; and fostering safe and environment-friendly truck driver training solutions.
