The training program aims to enhance participants’ knowledge and skills in assessing, managing, and communicating food safety risks. It also targets to introduce basic concepts in preliminary risk management activities, identification and selection of risk management options, implementation and control measures, and monitoring and review.

Invited participants are expected to develop and implement an action plan after the training to demonstrate knowledge and skills gained. The action plan should be something that is useful to their organization’s work or the participant’s current responsibilities.
