Mekong Institute has signed a MoU with the Sasin Japan Center (SJC) of Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration of Chulalongkorn University to have a long term cooperation on January 27, 2014 in Bangkok. Dr. Jean-Pierre A. Verbiest, Acting Director of MI and Dr. Takamasa Fujioka, Head, Management Studies of Sasin Japan Center of Sasin Graduate Institute signed the MoU in presence of Mr. Madhurjya Kumar Dutta, Program Manager of Trade and Investment Facilitation of MI. Earlier, the MI team also held discussion with H.E Prof. Toemsakdi Krishnamra, DirectorSasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration of Chulalongkron University. 

The purpose of the MoU is to collaborate on long term research, consulting and training activities in fields which are compatible with the orientation of each institution and relevant to the industrial, social and cultural interests and needs of the region. The initial focus will be collaboration through joint seminar, workshops and trainings including business matching activities. The very first activity, the SME Clusters Promotion and Investor Forum, will be co-organized at the Sasin Japan Center in Bangkok on March 19, 2014.
