Hanoi (July 15-16, 2015) – MI was endorsed as the fund manager of the ROK-Mekong Cooperation Fund (RMCF) at the Mekong Senior Official Meeting (SOM) on July 15-16, 2015. 

As the fund manager, MI will be responsible to coordinate the ROK-Mekong SOMs, draft guidelines for RMCF, review progress and report. MI will also participate in the ROK-Mekong Foreign Ministers Meeting to report on the progress of the RMCF. 

At the meeting, Mr. Madhurjya Kumar Dutta, Program Manager presented the outcomes of the 1st phase of Certified Logistics Master project funded by RMCF and introduced the plan of action for the 2nd phase of the project. Dr. Watcharas Leelawath, Director, MI provided comments on responsibility of MI as the fund manager.
