Mekong Institute will be organizing eight (8) online safe food courses in 2022 as part of the New Zealand Aid Programme-funded Project on Promoting Safe Food for Everyone (PROSAFE).
These regional online training programs comprise a major component of the five-year food safety project being implemented in Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, and Vietnam (CLMV). The Project primarily seeks to engage key actors from both the public and private sectors to put in place an integrated mechanism leading toward significant changes in food safety perception and practices in the region.
In this line, MI is now accepting applications for interested CLMV nationals to participate in the following courses to be delivered in 2022. Due to movement and travel restrictions in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, these training courses will be hosted at the MI Residential Training Center in Khon Kaen, Thailand through a digital platform – Zoom application.
Courses will be delivered in English and will be facilitated by MI and regional experts. Selected participants are expected to develop and implement action plans to demonstrate the knowledge and skills they gained from their respective courses. These action plans must be relevant to their organization’s priorities or the participant’s current work.
