Mekong Institute (MI) and Trade Policy and Strategy Office (TPSO) signed an MOU on July 28, 2016 at the Ministry of Commerce, Bangkok. MI and TPSO agreed to strengthen their cooperation by developing their academic collaboration through data exchange, research, and training. 

The MOU was signed by Dr. Watcharas Leelawath, Executive Director of MI and Mr. Somkiat Triratpan, Director General of TPSO, Ministry of Commerce. After the MOU signing, Dr. Watcharas also joined the academic talk on the topic of ‘Role of Research to the Development of Thailand’s Trade’ with TPSO and Thailand Research Fund (TRF)
