Mekong Institute (MI), with the support from the New Zealand Aid Programme (NZAP), is organizing the Regional Training Program on Raising Public Awareness for Safe Food Consumption on July 24–28, 2017, at Mekong Institute in Khon Kaen, Thailand.
The training program aims to introduce consumer engagement strategies that can be employed to promote safe food consumption. The course also targets to strengthen the capacity of local governments to develop and implement practical strategies for developing effective consumer messages and communication strategies for food safety hazards.
Invited participants are expected to develop and implement an action plan after the training to demonstrate knowledge and skills gained. The action plan should be something that is useful to their organization’s work or the participant’s current responsibilities.
