EXPAND YOUR BUSINESS HORIZONS: JOIN US IN THE 3RD LANCANG-MEKONG BUSINESS FORUM 2022

Trade and Investment Facilitation

With support from the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Special Fund of P. R. China, the Mekong Institute (MI), in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce (MoC) of the Royal Government of Thailand and the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce, is hosting the 3rd Lancang-Mekong Business Forum (LMBF) on March 30-31, 2022 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

With the theme “Promoting Agribusiness and Investment in Processed Food Sector,” the two-day event offers a range of activities to establish business linkages, exchange information on innovation and technology in the processed food sector, and boost investment through collaboration among businesses in the Lancang-Mekong region. Industry leaders and experts will be sharing experiences through business seminar and panel discussion during the forum’s first day. Furthermore, processed food enterprises and investors can share situational updates and network business deal opportunities by participating in the business matching and product exhibition. A visit to leading food processing firms, Cambodia’s Special Economic Zone (SEZ), and related sites will be arranged in Phnom Penh capital for selected participants.

Due to the travel restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, MI designed the Forum with a combination of on-site activities and virtual platform. This is to cater to interested participants who will not be able to physically attend the event. Online participants can join the Business Seminar via Zoom on March 30 and the Virtual Business Matching on March 31 through the LMBF virtual platform.
