Mekong Institute (MI) organized a 5-day Structured Learning Visit (SLV) on “Rice Seed Production and Marketing System in Thailand” starting October 6, 2015 for 21 participants from Khammouane Province of Lao PDR.
As part of the multi-year project on “Capacity Development for Inclusive and Equitable Growth”, along the East-West Economic Corridor (EWEC) of the Greater Mekong Sub-region (GMS), a one-week training on Trade Event Promotion for Stakeholders in Rice Sector of Khammouane Province was successfully conducted in Myanmar, Thailand, Lao PDR, and Vietnam.
The 5-day Structured Learning Visit (SLV) on “Coffee Production and Marketing System in Thailand” commenced on September 14, 2015 at Mekong Institute. This SLV is under the project titled “Capacity Development for a More Inclusive and Equitable Growth, Greater Mekong Sub-region (GMS)” funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
