SAFE FOOD STAKEHOLDERS TO GATHER FOR CAMBODIA FOOD SAFETY WEEK

Agricultural Development and Commercialization

Over a hundred safe food champions and relevant stakeholders are expected to gather for the Cambodia Food Safety Week on November 5-8, 2018 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Organized by Mekong Institute as part of its PROSAFE Project (Promoting Safe Food for Everyone), the event complements the Project’s other ongoing efforts to enhance public awareness on food safety and promote food regulations and standards in the food supply chain in Cambodia.  

The Cambodia Food Safety Week will showcase multiple events designed to encourage information exchange, networking and collaborative actions among participating government agencies, food supply chain actors, consumers, small and medium enterprises and non-government organizations in the food sector in Cambodia.
