Delegates from New Zealand Aid Programme (NZAP) composed of by Mr. Brent Rapson, First Secretary of Development of the New Zealand Embassy and two development officers paid a visit to Mekong Institute on Tuesday, February 10, 2015. 

Welcomed by the MI Director, Dr Watcharas Leelawath and MI program staff, the delegates were briefed on MI’s background and history. Dr. Watcharas also presented MI’s current main activities in the Greater Mekong Sub-region (GMS,) including its core program and research areas. Mr. Brent Rapson then explained that this particular visit is part of the GMS familiarization visit of Mr. Simon Webber who is the Development Officer of Mekong Global Development Division, from Wellington. He is mainly responsible for the development projects in the GMS.
