Multi-stakeholders Consultative Meeting on The Mekong ROK Comprehensive Partnership for Mutual Prosperity
The Mekong Institute sponsored by the Government of the Republic of Korea is organizing a Multi-stakeholders Consultative Meeting on The Mekong ROK Comprehensive Partnership for Mutual Prosperity on 3 May 2012 at Pullman Khon Kaen Raja Orchid Hotel, Khon Kaen, Thailand.
The aims of this meeting are to deliberate on development initiatives under the six areas of cooperation under the Han River Declaration and to establish close cooperation between business associations, training and research institutions of ROK and those in the Mekong countries.
Representatives from government agencies, international organizations, research and academic institutions, civil society and private sectors from the five Mekong Countries (Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam) will be invited to share their perspectives on how Korea can be involved in narrowing the development gap of CLMV and integrating the CLMVs economy into ASEAN and Global Economies.
